GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

GRE revised General Test replaced the GRE® General Test from August’ 2011
The GMAT test is developed and administered by the US-based Pearson VUE under the direction of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).It is required for for admission to the MBA program.

Anyone is eligible for taking the GRE Test – there are no restrictions based on age or qualifications.

  • FORMS : Forms are available at U.S. Education Foundation in India(USEFI) or they can be downloaded from the website.
  • WEBSITE : www.gmac.com, www.mba.com or www.ets.org
  • ONLINE : You may register at www.gre.org.
  • FEES : The fee to take the Graduate Management Admission Test is US$250.
  • VALIDITY :The score is generally valid for 5 years.
  • REPORTING :The score is sent to 5 universities by ETS free of cost at the time of exam. For reporting to each additional university, the charge is US $28.

• REPORTING : ETS has the provision of reporting your GRE scores to a maximum of four universities of your choice. ETS charges you $13 for reporting to each additional university.

• EXAM : The test is administered in the above cities five-days-a-week (Monday to Friday), twice-a-day. Registering at least 15 days in advance is mandatory. Most centers offer two slots: 9 A.M. and 2 P.M.

• SCORE : Total score is out of 800 (Quantitative & Verbal) and Analytical Writing Assessment (Essays) is scaled from 0 – 6.
